This print by Catalan artist Alícia Gómez portrays the hoopoe, one of the most singular birds of the Mediterranean fauna. Instantly recognisable by its orange crest with black tips, its long curved beak and its zebra-striped black and white plumage, the hoopoe is a bird that seems designed to catch the eye. This print is made using a technique called giclée, which uses archival water-based inks on premium 200gsm matte art paper (sourced from sustainably managed forests).
